 "Buy Local, Buy Canadian"
purchasing policy. 
A simple and common sence place to start supporting our Community our Province our Country . City staff and Council should be mandated to locally source goods or services when spending our tax dollars. We can all help each other in these trying times and rebuild our economy from the ground up if we all

 As a taxpayer and concerned resident  I urge  you and City Council to draft and adopt a "buy local, buy Canadian" purchasing policy that would allow preferences to be given to goods and services produced in Canada. This matter needs to be a priority on this councils agenda. I am especially concerned that tax dollars for capital and infrastructure projects are spent in Canada to create jobs for Canadians and Brantford residents. 

I support Canadian jobs. I support a "buy local, buy Canadian' purchasing policy for the City of Brantford .
